The house has been furnished and decorated as a home from home for the owner rather than as a `rental property`. It is comfortable but not `shiney`, except for the bathrooms and kitchen which are brightish.
The `salle de sejour` is an oblong room of 38m2 which serves as sitting and dining room. There is a stone fireplace at one end and at the other end a refectory table is set beside window doors which open onto the terrace. There is a piano.
The bright, well equipped kitchen also opens to the terrace. The professional standard `Ilve` cooker has four gas burners and an electric barbecue on top and two electric ovens, with an efficient Rosiere fume extractor. There are solid beech work-tops. A breakfast table is set by the French windows and there is a velux window over the sink. There is a modern washing-up machine and a large fridge with a deep-freeze top.
The childrens room is on the lower floor. It has a set of bunk beds, table, chairs and chest of drawers. The adjoining bathroom has bath/shower, sink and w.c. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a modern shower with sink and w.c. Both bathrooms have windows. The bedroom windows look over the church grounds (the grave-yard is outside the village) and the landing window looks over the water-meadows.
Stone steps lead from the house to the pathway and the grassed `garden`, where a bench has been placed to get the evening sun. There is room for a couple of cars to be parked beside the house.
